Question from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania... I am an EMT-B who has just started my first transport job and I volunteer at a 911 squad on the weekends. So here's the question:

If I am working at the transport company and I see someone injured in a car accident am I required to stop?

Hi there, welcome to the forum. You will learn very fast that there are some topics on here that we discuss ad-nauseam, and a simple search will turn up what you are looking for. Some members get grouchy when you don't search first.

Just so you know. ^_^

Now, as to the OP, I will say what I usually say: Check with your Supe, Coordinator or other boss. Failing that, check with the state DOH.

Stop, notify your dispatcher, check for injuries, and go from there.

This should have been asked during your interview. In PA there are protocols dependent upon what region you were certified in but your boss would know this information. Your company will also have their own protocols. Be sure to ask during orientation.
