I am a paramedic at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium in Powell, Ohio. We are an actual state registered EMS agency with medical director, protocol, drug license, the full deal. We used to be just first aid but that all changed a few years back. We are also a CE training agency. We are always curious if there are any other zoo's or theme parks that are actual full EMS or just mainly first aid.

Reedy Creek Improvement District (RCID) also known as....Disney World. :)

I am kinda jealous.

Yeah, but it's all BLS and not all that interesting. LACoFD does everything above bandaids and Tylenol.
From what I hear, that's how it is for almost every agency throughout LA county.....

Milwaukee County Zoo in Milwaukee, WI.

While the medics aren't technically employed by the Zoo, they are employed by the Milwaukee County Office of EMS, and Milwaukee County owns the zoo. So, close enough for government work.

Also, the zoo isn't the only thing OEMS medics do. Many special events are staffed by OEMS medics (or so I've heard), and they also run the municipal paramedic training program for municipalities in Milwaukee County.
