I am a new EMT-B and have just received my license in Illinois. I just wanted to find out what companies are good to work for in Chicago. Let me know your opinions on the companies you currently work for or have worked for.

In Chicago or in the suburbs? The privates are all pretty much the same no matter what... 8-9 bucks an hour to start for interfacility transports. It's just a matter of whether you want to be busy or bored.

If you want to run 911, you'll need to get your firefighter II.... No third-party EMS in the Chicago area.
