Changing something about EMS practice

Is there anything in EMS/Paramedic practice that you think could benefit from a change, or at least some research into potential issues in an area of practice?

I'm going to be undertaking some research as part of my paramedic programme and want to make it worthwhile, hence the question.

New Jersey EMS

If you run EMS in New Jersey you might see many things that need a change, as it is generally a state that makes no sense and really has no set standards. There are many things on both the BLS and ALS side that could benefit from a change, one of which being something as simple as allowing an EMT to perform a BGL check in the field.
