Hey guys, I'm starting EMT Basic training in a couple weeks and I'm curious if any of you have ever bought any another literature aside from the required textbook to boost your knowledge base?

A good EMT-B book like what was required for my class will have more information than you'll know what to do with.

What EMT book were you using?

Prehospital Emergency Care by Mistovich. There's been a time or two I've wished I could reference back to it while in medic school.

I'd suggest a Kaplan test prep book or a similar book by one of the other sundry test prep companies. It makes for good review after lectures, because it's nice and condensed. Plus, it should be helpful for test prep, naturally.
