Someone in our company wants to view an autopsy so he'll have an easier time identifying different parts of the human body (anatomically speaking). He is currently close to completing his EMT-Basic class.

I was wondering if there is any way he would be able to do this.

Autopsies is actually a surgical procedure, and can be a legal mandated medical performance as well. Remember, this would be similar to asking to watch someones surgery......

I would suggest contacting your local medical examiner office or State Medical Examiner office. As well contact your university that might offer cadaver anatomy. They may allow you to view dissection.

Yes, but it is a great video to use in emt or medic classes. Lets them see what each organ really looks like.

Thanks for the replies everyone! I suggested that he take an anatomy class along with his EMT since he's so interested in it (he's taking it at a community college vs. public service training).
