Good morning folks,
As an ambulance nurse (paramedic) I've been working fulltime for the last eight years for an all-ALS ambulance service in a busy urban environment in the Netherlands. I am trilingual (Spanish, English, Dutch). I would love to continue my career in EMS in the United States. Although, up to now, after doing some research online, it seems like mision impossible.
Suppose I go through a state licensing procedure and eventually get recognized as a paramedic in the US,
what are my chances of being hired as an overseas medic, on a sponsored visa?
How does the current job market look like and is there any place in the US where there is a shortage of paramedics, despite decent work conditions?
