Ambulance License under investigation

So I went into the DMV a month ago to get my ambulance drivers licence. I still haven't received anything in the mail. I called today and they told me my license is under investigation. They couldnt give me any specifics.

Has anyone dealt with this issue before or know anyone that has gone through this? What can it be?

I recently got a job offer (BLS) and I start next week. Will this be an issue?
