General question, does anyone know if yet another live scan is going to be mandatory to obtain your ambulance license even after the Central Registry transition in a few weeks? I've been putting it off but I really need to get my license because my employer is on my a**. I just don't want to get anooother live scan. I mean come ON, with the app fee at the DMV that's like an entire week's worth of pay! Anyways let me know if you know anything.

EMT2010= California EMSA

Ambulance Driver Certification= DMV.

It most likely isn't even on the radar. Plus, it's $25 fee and, when I did the Live Scan at UC Irvine Police Department, it was $50. That was less than what I was making per shift (12 hour shift meant 14 hours pay (hours 8-12 at time and a half) at $9/hr when I started) and much less per week, even at part time.

Thanks, I was just hoping I might be able to save a few bucks.
