ALS starting salaries in MA for private companies

Seriously, though, this isn't something companies are very forthcoming about, even with their own employees. You may get some PM replies.
 
i was directing the question at users with experience, as that is something to consider in regards to their rent. boston is very expensive to live in. this is the "ems employment" forum, you do have to make a living in this line of work.
 
I work for one of the companies listed above and I don't have any idea what anyone besides me and a few of my BLS partners make. For whatever reason it is just not talked about, and management gets uncomfortable anytime wages are brought up in conversation.

Some do better scheduling than others as well, if you're guaranteed two 24s a week that's 8 hours OT every week so that makes it a little better.
 
McCall pays more than you'd think on the ALS side (not so for BLS)-I've heard of new medics making 17 there. That being said, it varies widely based on who is doing the hiring within the company.
