Maybe the criteria should be a little better than what the writing on the side of the car said ...

This seems far too simplistic an analysis to be really worth anything. Patients transported by ALS had higher mortality rates ... ok, but patients who are transported by ALS also tend to be sicker and have more comorbidities ...
