Alameda Co. Packet, Backround timeline...

I submitted my backround check to DOJ over a month ago.
I used the form directly from ALCO EMS .gov site.
I was told that it would take a few weeks.
How long is it supposed to take for the county to recieve the DOJ's response & aren't I supposed to get some kind of reply from DOJ as well?

I was told "a few weeks" & I haven't contacted any potential's as I want to have everything done my end before I even start with them.

Anyone from ALCO have a vague notion of how long it took them for the backround turnaround?

Everything seems to take 50-100% longer than every timeframe I'm quoted regarding the whole "getting cert'd" portion of this process. I thought I knew about "hurry up & wait" but I see people in thier rigs and know one thing for sure, they have some patience.

Understandable. Don't forget that while it may have been a month, we've had lots of federal holidays.
