So who has the inside word on what's about to change?

According to Stapleton, we can expect areas of interest in the new guidelines to include:

  • Transport to cardiac arrest centers or Stemi centers
  • Compression to ventilation ratios
  • Therapeutic hypothermia
  • Community-based CPR and self-instruction
  • Prehospital 12-leads by BLS providers
  • Prehospital administration of Beta Blockers
Future of CPR Discussed at FH World

I have a feeling a change is amidst us.

I am attending the roll out tomorrow. From what I read and have seen .. nothing much is going to change. All material is still on back order that it is predicted new material will not be able to be taught until late 2011 early 2012.
