"Jupiter police said two paramedic EMTs were killed in a rollover crash involving a car early Thursday morning at Indiantown Road near Military Trail in Jupiter."

Looks like a car turned out in front of the ambulance and cut them off. Things I've read online says that the driver of the car may have been intoxicated; the driver of the ambulance was restrained and the other paramedic was sleeping on the bench seat en route back to the station for downtime.

Sleeping on the bench, likely not belted in, very likely to be catastrophic in any collision. That is terrible.

Restrained driver, there's not a huge amount of changes to be made there. Bad things happen. Perhaps better cabs?
