Pretty much sums up exactly what I was looking for. I do appreciate the responses gang. Not a fan of all the *****ing about the IF stuff and for someone to shed a little bit of light on it being a learning process makes it worth while.
I am excited to start, and excited to learn about the...
Good stuff, thanks Rob.
I actually dont know what I will be running since I got hired today and dont have orientation till the 28th, so I could be wrong on the IFT stuff. I would like to get the hands on expeirence as well, and I am assuming this is a way of getting that too?
I know there is a lot of information posted on this exact topic, but most seems to be of the negative ilk. For new EMT with not much if any expeirence this is where I am assuming they start out, is on a IFT ride?
The reason I ask is because I just got hired and really have no idea what the...
Alright, here we go ladies and gents.
I recently tested for a fire department out here in AZ and got hired. It was for a reserve position that I was extremely happy with considering I just fnished my 1 and 2 academy.
So a week goes by and I get a call stating that they had to cut the last...
I am assuming it was Yuma? Anyway, I hope it works out for you!
I have my written test this friday and interview (pending I pass the written) the 10-14th with RM Fire in Maricopa County!
Have to ask, where do you work? You seem to know so much about CARE, I would have thought you worked there, no?
Sounds like you're trying to cut this kid down for asking questions about applying. The first response was enough about the "point" thing. So enlighten us on all the trial and...
As much as people say the number of the questions it stops at doesnt matter, if you look at the people whos stopped at 70 the majority have passed.
So rest easy, you have to wait till Monday I would imagine, but to answer your question, yes it is a pass fail.
Not sure if it's just me, but I think the kid lives in Louisiana, not Los Angeles.
Best advice is to be pateint and apply EVERYWHERE. I got out of my academy in May and have tested once since then. I now have a great chance at a local fire department here in az. Interview is Dec. 1.
Stay...
I tried all sorts of different routes and it seemed like Pearson hall had the best things to offer, as well as being the closest to the real deal.
I tired the emt-training.com and it was no where near what you need to know.
Is there a reason why they do not give you your final results after you passed?
All I got was a congrats, a letter and card will be mailed to you.
I would have liked to know how well I did.
Nice, thanks Fit. Where abouts in AZ are you, if you dont mind me asking.
I will have my NRT card tomorrow in the mail, will head out to get the state.
Do you know where I could find that app for the state?
