Agreed on head injuries..they are more then likely going to get intubated..per RSI..UNLESS you work for a service that unfortuantly doesn't allow RSI.. We use RSI..but fentanyl is not a drug used in RSI for us..Lido to decrease icp and etomidate/succs or versed/succs... But RSI can be a scary...

We currently use Zofran in our proctols/system. I like it a lot more then phenergan...Its less harsh and has less of the sleepyness of phenergan. And depending on how much she has been vomitting lol...Our dosage is 4mg IV/IM ONE TIME only dose...unless otherwise ordered by doc...goes great with...

You don't know it well enough then. I was able to go in there and just spit it off...from top to bottom without even thinking about it...Its all about memorization...over and over again..then just go in there and repeat it just like you would on your paper when you are practicing. It doesn't...
