How many of you have agencies or department policies, that would hang this guy?, and what what should we do as a industry to prevent this? Thoughts.
So how many of you get paid extra for speaking another language at your job? Should we get extra cash for speaking another language, thoughts and opinions.
So obviously people on this fourm would like to see more education in the form of degrees, but how about for staters, people start with maybe a min. of 9 units/hours of English Comp or Critical Thinking classes.
So I was at the trainging tower and a female firefighter made a comment that the Biddle exam only exist to keep women from getting hired with other fire departments. Yes it is way harder than the CPAT, but if you train you can pass. what do you guys think?
So I was reading an article a couple of months ago fron the Orange County Register and it was about firefighter salaries, there was an Engineer/paramedic with OCFA who made 200k+ last year of course with overtime, and only has a HS diploma. What do you think min or max salaries should be in ems...
