    Technimount Safety Arm

We have one, however most of the crews didn't seem to like it because it is a little cumbersome to fold down to unload patients and so it isn't on the rig anymore. I think in our system it would fit our needs better as a vent mounting point rather than for the cardiac monitor as we got it...

    Alaska Paramedic Job?

@MICP2585, since I still haven't hit the magic number to DM yet, I thought there would be a couple questions that more people would be interested in as well. The couple big ones to start, what does pay look like between LifeMed and Guardian and do they have any kind of step process over time to...

    2022 EMS Conferences

Just got tickets to FAST22, hope to see you guys there! I managed to get into the FOAMFrat airway pre-conference class and the conference itself looks like a solid lineup of speakers this year.

    Alaska Paramedic Job?

I think I might be missing a few posts to get to the magic number to start using the DM feature. Once I can, I will certainly do so, thanks!

Regular Partner Pairings a Detriment to Safety?

I have definitely noticed a difference (on ground at least) with a regular partner versus a "partner of the day." I wouldn't be at all worried on a high acuity call with my current partner's abilities to handle themselves, especially considering we are 45-60 minutes from any back up. When I...

    Alaska Paramedic Job?

Sorry if this is a poorly placed thread revival, but I was curious if anyone had some current contacts with either Guardian Flight or LifeMed. I have a few questions that I can't seem to find answers to with my Google fu abilities. Thanks in advance!

emt reciprocity from CA to NV

Just to let you know as well, Clark County/Las Vegas area are under the Southern Nevada Health Board, which is different than the rest of the state. To my knowledge, both accept NREMT as reciprocity though.

    Progressive EMS systems?

I appreciate it! I have contemplated joining a few times over the years, so much useful knowledge and experience on the boards here!

    Progressive EMS systems?

Heavy rescue is call back, almost entirely for Semi crashes or super technical rescues. The Rescue Ambulance is the primary rescue rig, since it can also transport, and will be staffed by one of the crews. So, yes, one crew brings a "normal" ambulance and one Rescue. Each of our 911...

    Progressive EMS systems?

I saw HGH EMS and felt I needed to reply to shed a little bit of light on our current situation. Long time lurker, first time poster and what follows is of course under the usual "These are my views and not those of my agency" disclaimer. What @NPO said is accurate, to a point. Currently...
