Hi! I am a preceptee for an ER medical doctor in San Diego. On a recent cardiac case, I overheard the cardiologist say that "All the ECG leads must be firmly attached, when performing transcutaneous pacing, because the pads that pace DO NOT analyze heart rhythms...There is NO device with pads...
