    Its a part of Wake County EMS (Raleigh, NC). The County system runs more than 100,000 calls a year. I think there are less than 20 volunteers in the entire system. The agency I am interviewing with is the only 911 organization that takes volunteers within 45 minute drive.

    Volunteering with a 9-5

    Thanks for all of the feedback! During the training and probationary period, they require no less than 48 hours per month. I intent to maintain that level of service, even after probation. I still want to plan for a 60 hour month, just in case.
