to acquire a position in a "busy system" would mean relocating. Neither of my local ambulances give me enough time on the car even if there is an open position. My rural fire department gets me more hands on time than what id get in the year driving wheel chair vans.

Don't be afraid to dig in deep for the pulse. Don't cut yourself short with five seconds and risk an inaccurate or uncertain information. Take that extra 10 to 25 second to eliminate doubt.
I guess I should consider myself lucky that my holidays arent interupted since it is so slow. Ha. I'm not sure how many more times I can organize my rigs. But hey I may not be busy but at least I'm prepared. I hate feeling like my skills arent being utilized.
I can't wait for summer to be back. I'm in an area that gets huge tourist surge in the late spring, summer, and early fall. It leaves the winters mind numbingly slow. What do y'all do to keep out of a winter funk?
