    Stress

No real suggestions but I just wanted to say that everyone will have those calls. Remember that it's in the past now, you did all you could do, and you are going to do amazing in the future helping even more people that truly need you. Just breathe, talk it out if you need to, and press forward...

    Medic with Motion Sickness

I know there are marketed wrist bands that supposedly help. I don't know if they do or not but I too have horrible motion sickness. Sometimes mint has helped me. I would try either the circle red and white mints or try double mint spearmint gum.

    What are your meals?

I try to make my guy a good hearty breakfast before he leaves for his shift. Some days I've done scrambled eggs with sausage while another day I did french toast. For lunch he usually takes a sandwich with some chips and fruit. Then for dinner I make either a chicken and rice type dish or pasta...

    What are your Health tips?

Food wise...we eat normal if not a little healthier than most I would guess. One thing I see being a benefit to our eating habits in EMS is just to portion and pre-plan meals. Get some Tupperware and ones that have at least 2 sections that way on one side you can put your main meal and the other...

    NREMT Failed, Advice?

I studied everything in the 3 weeks I had between my course being finished to taking registry. I went over all my notes, the quizzes I took online, the summaries and vocab at the end of each chapter. I looked on youtube for scenarios to see what others would do in certain situations. I also...

I'm interested in being an EMT-B, but not sure if it's right for me...

You have to complete the actual course (mine was 3hrs/day, 3x a week, 5 months) and do clinical hours. Additionally shifts can range in 8-24hrs so timing all this may be challenging. If you can pull off a good schedule, that's half your battle. Whether you stay in EMS long or not is your call...

    EMT studying

I read the chapter ahead of class and it allowed me to grasp concepts better. I also took really good notes. You have to remember that from the time you complete the course to actually taking registry can be a few weeks so these notes are going to come in handy! Additionally, when it came time...

Returning to EMS: Am I insane?

You're coming back to it for a reason so listen to yourself and see it through as much as you're able. You won't regret what you try. If you decide you made the wrong choice then you can always stop or change things.

    Nremt results?

No. I think this is to prevent questions and answers from being leaked?
