The police are usually on scene before us here, but even if they arent we NEVER go into a scene that has not been secured. This all goes back to the first days of basic class scene safety scene safety. Sometimes we take it for granted that our scene is safe this is a reminder to us all.

We do high school football games, county fair, dirt bike races and all sorts of other stuff they host at the fairgrounds. Football games we get the usual broken bones. spraines,neck injuries at the fair anything from a bee sting to cardiac arrests in the packed grandstands at the very top.

We use our portables if we need mutal aide we call county and they tone out whoever and they contact us on our channel. We have nextels in our ambulances but as far as I know they are just there for decoration for now lol.
