Santa Rosa native here. Sonoma Life Support is contracted with AMR. If I was still there I would look north for private companies. Bell's is in Windsor/Healdsburg. I started out in EMS once I moved to VA. Just wanted to throw out what little info I had. Hope this helps even a little bit.
I would have never been to even explore EMS without the opportunity to volunteer. I don't think volunteers work in every locality but my question is simple. Does it matter if the people showing up at O dark thirty when 911 is called are paid or not? I think someone being there matters more...
I am a Santa Rosa, CA native and why you would pick Sebastopol interests me. I just left CA at the end of 2010 and would never have been able to start in EMS without the opportunity to volunteer at a rescue squad here in VA.
