Don't waste your time. You failed. Sorry man, but they don't mess this stuff up. Remember your ABCs and that scene safety comes first. Don't think too hard about questions.
Stopped around 70 questions. Passed. You will feel like you failed because of the computer based testing. It makes the questions harder until you start getting them wrong.
Just brush and scrap it often. Start it every hour or so and let it run for a few minutes (if possible). I have this stuff I spray on the windows that prevents ice and snow from accumulating but I can't remember the name of it. I can get that if you want to know.
Me. I'm a volunteer and I have a career and schooling outside of the EMT world. Paramedic is really out of the question for me but I'm highly interested in EMT-I certification in the future.
It must've kind of felt like a rite of passage to change that to "EMT-Paramedic". I can't wait until I get to set mine to "EMT-Basic". I know that sounds lame but it's true.
I talked to the Lt of the local fire department. He said I have to fill out an application but I'm going to get in for sure because he's going to put in a word for me.
The department will pay for all schooling. I'll be a "trainee" for a year before I become a full-fledged member...
Well... I am going to college already as a psychology major. I want to be a therapist. I was planning on just being a volunteer EMT.
Thanks for the advice, though. Closed mouth, open mind. :)
I'm 18 years old from a suburb of Milwaukee, WI. On March 31st, I will have my CPR/AED training and then I will be able to register for EMT-B classes. Does anyone have any advice for me going into this?
