I know it sound's like I'm just trying to trash this ALS crew, but I have not exaggerated at all. Ultimately we transported the PT with no further complications, but looking back I should have just called the ALS crew back. I will be notifying my supervisor about this next shift.

Yep, do it everyday...although we don't really have much as far as treatment outside of oral glucose or a upgrade to ALS for those extreme cases.

Kinda curious what county your in...I'm with a private BLS company as well, we transport for the city and the county, I keep a copy of both departments ALS to BLS protocol in my clipboard..sooo if there's ever a question I can pull out their own protocol..which many of them have never seen...

Anyone ever heard of a CLEP exam or something similar for the EMT-B course or a portion of the course? I wouldn't imagine that there would be anything like that for the practical or clinical portion but maybe the lecture portion. Unfortunately a friend of mine is to the point that he is going...
