So once again. If someone in my family is sick or injured and requires an ambulance I would want Fedmedic, Prizonmedk or trauma1534 working on them over anyone else I know.

Ok This is not a Flame throwing thread. I am just interested in what other providers see as the most common problems with the Training systems in EMS today.
As for me I think it is the diffrent ways you get you Cert. at diffrent areas of the country. I would like to see one standard system...
Have/Do any of you use Valium for a pt. C/O of chest pain with a recent Hx. of cocaine use? I was reading about it in another Forum and Looked interesting.

Here in Western Virginia EMS Council EMT-B' can adminster Oxygen, Oral Glucose, and ASA ({2} 81mg baby) on standing orders, also Epi Pen, NTG...
Ok I have worked in system that is very small where you have transport times of 30 to 45 min. and I have worked in citys where you can see the hosptial from the scene. My question is which one would you rather work in?
Me I like the smaller ones because you get a chance to preform your skills...
Well hello from the Great Commonwealth of Virginia. New to this forum. Been an EMS provider for about 20 years and a medic for 7 years now. I work for the Federal Bureau of Prisons as a Paramedic. Also Vol. for Mt. Hermon Vol. Fire and Rescue. Looking foward to some interesting post.:)
