I have to say that I'm kinda glad that I live in PA, where it's really simple to get a CCW permit. I wouldn't mind it being a little harder, but it's damn near impossible for some of you guys to get permits in other states.

Accident with Entrapment. Got to land the helicopter and all. 5 patients in total I think. Was quite exciting for a 17 year old kid. Five years later, I'd rather take a non-emergency sick person than go on an entrapment call. Way more fun being able to converse with my patients about their lives...

Same here. Used to be a BLS skill, then all of a sudden it became a penetrating object issue at some point and now it's a transport. PD rarely calls us for it anymore and if they do we are generally told to go available when they find out it requires a transport.
