If I remember correctly it was 16 hours in ER and ambulance observational only. That was in the early 90s in Washington. Things may have changed a bit.

I would suggest that you get your EMT-B then upgrade with your WFR. You will be able to get your WEMT that way. Good advice with going with a training provider that is an affiliate with WMS. That is the golden standard.
