anyone against the idea of palpating the radial artery while inflating (and waiting for the absence)? i wasnt really taught to me that way but seems to work. additional input on that?

try some mild cardio, like jumping jacks while not on a run? anything that involves movement or speeding up the heart keeps me going. or even little snacks turn the music up loud and dance

cardiac monitor. it will also get BP, pulse and 02 sat.

they might move this to a different forum but to answer... one thing that can help it is obtaining the BP w/ a monitor. which im suprised you didnt have seeing you were on an ALS rig.

my opinion you really dont have to spend a whole lot on boots. wal mart carries a decent pair for $40. i have a pair of bates 8" that i bought for $60. but if you must, theres always 511tactical. i cant remember if they make the pair thats resistant to bloodborne pathogens.

what they were doing was, having those that work with the schools do the practicals, only in the basic level. what our teacher told us was the state couldn't find anyone to take the time to schedule NR practicals at the testing center.
