soo.....I'm not too knowledgeable about this stuff...what's likely going to happen? Will employees lose their jobs? Will R/M vanish or will they be able to stay a business?
In terms of whether or not it's the good company to work for, I can't anything good or bad about it. I love my job, but there are things that I don't tend to like. To me it's just a stepping stone towards my medic career.
I've seen a lot of EMT's with e-cigs and vapors nowadays. I'm not the type of guy to go up to them and give them a lecture about how they're an image of their company.
I'm starting my application for the january session and was wondering if anyone could offer any advice or stories regarding what they've heard or their experiences from attending this program. Thanks!
Just want to know who here is a flight medic and how they like their job. Is it more fun than a regular rig? Does it get old? Anything important I should know before going down this path?
I'd say the fire guys have any right to keep you or kick you out. It's probably nothing against you, they probably have EMTs/Medics on their contracted ambulance that they have more experience and trust with and would rather have them on scene.
I agree. I do IFT's with a Pacific Ambulance and now that they are owned by Rural Metro, I feel a bit more confident in the fact that the company won't go under.
This company has a decent sized station across my neighborhood in Garden Grove. Dont know how long its been there, although Ive seen their EMT's walk around with hats on backwards (just doesnt seem professional to me)
