How do we demonstrate DEI? I would say my service does a pretty mediocre job...I think that's (sadly) standard in EMS.

Some interesting work done almost 10 years ago (wow!) by AMR in Colorado Springs. Smallish retrospective cohort, but nice outcomes!

So it sounds like we may be leaning away from pushing an assessment and focusing on more training. I personally don’t love that model - hard to know what people are doing right/wrong without a physical, cognitive, and clinical assessment standardized across everybody.
How much of the ED RN scope is facility location and/or level dependent? I have to imagine there is a good deal of base level therapies available at most places (venous access, oxygen, anti-emetics…)?

This seems way off the mark. How could this rise to the level of criminality? Maybe medical malpractice, maybe a reason to lose a license or something, but not a criminal charge.
