Hello there! I just completed KCC’s EMT program and I must say it was a lot of work! You have to be fully committed to that program. Class was officially mon-thursday from 7:30am-2:30pm but we stayed until 8pm at night some days to practice skills. A lot of us didn’t work during the program because we didn’t have time to.

To really get a head start on things you can buy the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Book 11th Edition. That is the book you will use for class.

KCC has an info session, held pretty much monthly (tho idk what that status is with everything in lockdown due to this pandemic) where they go in detail about all that.

But basically if you go on their website, they have a sample, suggested class schedule that includes the EMT pre reqs like Math and English (and off the top of my head Medical Terminology), and the Paramedic pre reqs like anatomy and physiology with labs and something else.
