For all you apolitical film buffs out there, try replacing "Fauci" with "Goldstein" in the document's first paragraph and see what movie it reminds you of.

Even among the more cynical SMEs, including USARMIID folks and cleared former mil BSL3 MD MPH researchers, the opinion is DNI has been posting some straight up misleading and ignorant stuff about biodefense that demonstrates ignorance of the topic and is eerily close to similar FMI (foreign info op/IW).

Similarly, in infectious disease, infection control, hospital medicine, and public health there is little regard for the current CDC... for clarity, much less than before (and a lot of us were quite fed up with them during the pandemic).
