EMS crews say they were dropping off a patient at the emergency room at Randolph Health on 364 White Oak St. in Asheboro when a man, identified as Allen Ulises Morgan, 27, jumped in the ambulance and drove away just before 5 a.m
Morgan allegedly drove the stolen ambulance from Asheboro all the way to Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. According to Google Maps, it is around an hour drive and a total distance of roughly 50 miles.
