EMSC bought my company here in Vegas and nothing has changed other than some mandatory corporate training. At the street level really nothing happened.
I used a gps for awhile, but im gun shy because every once in awhile it was totally wrong and tried to send me the wrong way. So I guess I'd say use with caution because it's your butt if it screws up
Sounds like a basic internship? Depends on the preceptor but you'll probably end up taking vitals and maybe some assessments. Be ready for some minor trauma - cleaning wounds, splinting, etc
Ha! Too true! I second (3rd?) the idea to leave the patches on. Some cardiologists like to see exactly where your patches were when they look at your 12 lead
I just keep a pair of gloves in my car. There are more equipped people just a phone call away. I do keep a small bls bag at home for the family but that's it
