That's the honest to God truth...nursing homes are the worst offenders. Calling codes on DNRs and 2am STAT runs to the ER for a bone broken yesterday.

A 10" flathead screwdriver inserted rectally, point 1st 2 days before making call.

That'll teach'm. Maybe the mouse was running for the phone to dial 911......

Ya do like it says in "House of God"..During a code the first thing you do is take your own pulse!!!!!

That's what's so funny about kids; most of them don't realise what they are actually saying. Unfortunately, some do!!!!:sad:

How do you find out what the #1 song was?

Does everyone here have a second job or do you manage to survive on just one? Our guys get a 5% payincrease for going from the fireline to the ambulance but that's not much compensation for the sleep you miss, especially before going to a second job in the morning.

How many states have ACLS instruction on computers now? We just started it here in Georgia. Any thoughts on doing it this way? Thanks guys!!!
