How long is the typical emt i course? In some states, highschoolers can get their emt b cert, is it the same for the intermediate course?

In CT can you volunteer without the NREMT? I'm 16 so I'm not sure if I can take it.

i deff don't think sneakers will cut it. flats for a girl, a black boot or black dressy shoes for a guy. an oxford and nice pants should be fine. did anyone else in your class go yet? it seems weird that they wouldnt give you a labcoat or tell you exactly what to wear

thanks! do you know who is able to do more in a hospital setting? i know emts and pcts can both volunteer in the ER, but who is able to do more? would it be useless to get a pct cert bc most of the skills (besides drawing blood) are already covered in the emt class?
