    This! Emts can do king tubes where I work. No ivs though, don't really see a need for it.

    I hate needles too. Much easier being on the other side of it. Doesn't hurt me a bit! So no I wouldn't say it'd make you a bad candidate, if anything I like it because if your anything like me you'll have some empathy for your pt and not make an absurd amount of iv attempts or something like that.

    Yea I've got quite a few patches lying around haha. Yea they will be hard to come by no doubt but may make it a little more fun. Screws would def work, just some half inch wood in the back of it. Thank ya sir

    Hey guys I'm going to take up a new hobby but not sure how to display it. I want to start collecting used helmet fronts, you know the leather shield that shows dept truck etc etc. Guessing a shadow box but not sure how to mount them inside and it would take a big one=expensive.

    It's a tough one but if the patient cannot make a judgement in his best interests he has no business refusing treatment and transport. There is combination for disaster with blood thinners/fall/AMS. Was he altered before or after the fall? You've gotta get creative sometimes when getting people...

    What's goin on man. I honestly love what I do. It's fulfilling and challenging all wrapped into one. Medic school is a kick in the nuts but its all worth it in the end with the opportunities that open up. Good luck with the move and school!

    What are some ways to memorize and learn the patient assessments?

    Wrote it down about 2 million times haha. Just buy a spiral and start goin at it, repetition is the only thing that worked for me

    Always heard Acadian had deep pockets, they pay more than most private ems around here. A jobs a job and experience is never bad. If you get it great for you, move on when you find another opportunity that suits you better!
