Are you hiring paramedic right now? I put my application there about 2 months ago but never heard from them.

As a new basic they start 13.11 and for new paramedic they start 18. I've heard that they will bump up their paramedics to 19. EMT-I I maybe wrong but maybe around 15-

I've talked to one of their Medics before, he said as per Bexar Co. Even if it's a BLS, Paramedic will be riding a 911 call. So basically the basic will just be an extra set hands and will do a BLS IFT or nursing homes transports.

Acadian only does IFT and nursing homes in Austin. They have 911 contract East of Austin w/c is I forgot the name of the Co. And Bexar Co. But as per 911 contract only Paramedics can ride with 911 calls.

ETMC is a decent service. the last time I know they pay ok. Waco is small town around 1.5 hrs north of Austin. But if you're interested to other places there's a lot of services looking for EMT's in Houston. Cypress Creek EMS (northwest of Houston), Harris Co. EMS(greater Houston), Galveston EMS...

anybody here knows about ETMC EMS? do they respond to 911 calls in pasadena, and Tyler Tx? because I transported a pt there, and their EMS looks pretty amazing. i just didn't get enough time to talk to their EMS personnel because i have pt that time. thank you.
