    Scary Firsts

    Working in the ER here EVERYTHING is new and a first. Is being "desensitized" a good thing? Part of me believes that it allows you to focus on your work better, but the other side believes that you loose something in the process; maybe the part of you that empathizes with the Pt. Not sure...
