No. For example in South Dakota we do not have any special licensing requirement to drive an ambulance. It all depends on what the agency insurance company will cover. One service I worked at you had to be 23. Some services you just need to be 18. Just avoid DUI's. I hear those are no bueno.

Well glad to hear things haven't changed. I've noticed a few people I know know have red names. Other then that I'd agree doesn't seem much has changed, which is nice.

The biggest thing is to remember; even if they are difficult to work with and you don't like them, be professional with them.
