I want to say that it was a subdural hemorrhage (out of the choices given). But what is the clinical difference between a subdural and a brain stem hemorrhage? Is a brain stem hemorrhage just telling you where it is, or does it mean something extra? I'm still in P1, so if anybody can tell me...

We were told that we couldn't stick each other, which I was okay with, but that meant that the first pt I stuck would be my first stick ever. I told her that I was an old hat at it....then I friggin missed. But I haven't had much problems after I got that first one out of the way. :rolleyes:

While I understand that an air embolism can be deadly, doesn't it require a fair amount to air to get that point? I'm thinking that he just remembered something that someone said and freaked out, thinking that any air is bad air.

It looked to me like that one guy held c-spine while camera-boy dragged him by the belt. I think it would have been better to 1) not let that one guy get himself out of the plane 2) leave him standing up and hold him up till u get a LSB on him, rather than let his spine move all around while...
