    AZ 24hr EMTB refresher... Where?

    a lot of the textbooks still teach this, they haven't been updated but the instructor has the responsibility to update the student. what they have all said is correct. direct pressure then if unmanageable, straight to TQ.

    NREMTB to AZ EMTB

    thanks for the replies. finally heard back. i can use my nremt for a 6 month temporary in which time I need to complete a refresher that will extend it the add'l 18 months and supply me with perm AZ cert. so, I can do the 6 month by fax or mail and get it turned around quickly. thanks.

    Does EMS overtreat?

    You have to cover yourself. Don't worry about the dr's that think you're over treating. If he was smart he'd appreciate the efforts but if you expect the worse and hope for the best then you're covered. If you expect the best and get a surprise, you're opening yourself up to negligence.
