Patient assessment, thought I typed it in there. Like bsi, science safety, moi/noi, number of pts. All the steps. I get lost after a couple and start jumping around to much or worrying about one thing more than the other.

I'm starting emt school on the 23rd and I have to do 16 house at a hospital and 52 hours of ride alongs and they have have to be 12 hour shifts. The hospital is two 8 hour shifts. I work 9am-4pm. I don't know how I'm going to do the ride alongs, I was thinking of either taking a day or two off...

Thanks pavehawk. I have yet to go and take the CPT that the college makes you take. And broward fire academy makes you take a tabe test, which I will be taking in a week or so or when ever my next day off is.

Maybe I don't understand, but explain to me why math, reading etc will help me be a better emt?
