This kind of news kind of upsets me as I am both a type 1 diabetic and seizure patient. Both conditions are under control, I work full time and go to school full time with only an occasional problem. She should have been able to get her certification, or at least had a chance to put...

I'm among the ones that push for the full 60 minutes. I've been taught that 'Even if you get a normal rhythm, ect, within the first 10/15 seconds, that could very possibly change after you are done with the pulse.'

Thanks for the welcome NVRob and bigbaldguy! I can assure that I`ve only been on here only this time, I`ll have to see how I can do that though. Yep, smilingblueeyes is a Nickname that`s been given to me - as I do smile alot and have blue eyes. :)

I`ve been looking around here for a few days now, and I like what I see. I`m currently a Nursing Aide, but am in the first few weeks of schooling for EMT training.
