Just got the call and just got the job! Relief!

Had my interview Tuesday. Called them Wednesday and they said they were still going over everyone and would get to me yesterday or today.

Excellent. I figure I'll be getting a ton of crap from the vets in the field so I might as well get used to it here.

Responsible for patient flow and such. I've read up on some of the qualifications required after posting this thread and it seems to be quite and undertaking. Usually requiring a BA and some management background. Maybe a little too far into the future. Still learning the ins and outs.

Looking to the future here. I'm still in school for EMT-B, but I've been thinking about where I want to go from there. I was interested in possibly going the route of emergency room management. Anyone have any input on this?

Aside from Explorer I've used Firefox, Safari and Google Chrome. Chrome seems to be the fastest.

A question for you all. Just wondering about some of the guilty pleasures you have/had before or after becoming and EMT. Things like smoking cigarettes, marajuana, drinking etc. How do people in this line of work feel about this?
