Responsible for patient flow and such. I've read up on some of the qualifications required after posting this thread and it seems to be quite and undertaking. Usually requiring a BA and some management background. Maybe a little too far into the future. Still learning the ins and outs.
Looking to the future here. I'm still in school for EMT-B, but I've been thinking about where I want to go from there. I was interested in possibly going the route of emergency room management. Anyone have any input on this?
A question for you all. Just wondering about some of the guilty pleasures you have/had before or after becoming and EMT. Things like smoking cigarettes, marajuana, drinking etc. How do people in this line of work feel about this?
