You will have to spend a few shifts working under an FTO. Once the FTO feels that you are confident and or compitent then you will be cleared to work your own shift.
I have an inteview with Acadian ambulance this week and it is extremely crucial that I get this job. Does anyone know what the interview is like and what kind of questions are asked? I do fairly well on job interviews but this is a big one for me, any help is well appreciated.
Also I do believe that if the H-6 print out is less then 3 months old then you can use it. But it may have to be an origional, and since Monday is a holiday the DMV might not be open.
I was hired by AMR in Los Angeles 10 years ago, and the test I took was basically on the same lines as the NREMT exam. If you passed the nremt then you can pass the AMR test.
Thank you, I do hope that after the interview the process only takes a week or two. At this time I am an EMT Basic and I am in the recertification process for my paramedic. So hopefully I can get on as a basic and move up.
