CEs, affiliation, and medical director sign off. No other medical profession has to do all that. CE & refresher is a bit much and all this dividing up hours into different categories is kind of tedious. From what I have been told, it doesn't help much for reciprocity in other states.

what are people's opinions of NREMT???? many think it is BS to have it with all its CE requirements. It is a testing corporation although I know they do other things

i have seen medics get used as less than what they are i guess. I know this doesn't happen in every situation

I work at a place that takes care of handicapped children that we transport. Many are in wheelchairs and have many medical issues we are there to monitor, example trach suctioning. Not a bad gig. Easy money
