The "E" stands for "Emergency". The "T" stands for "Technician", not "transport".

I guess I don't like the "Renal Roundup" because it's not what I was trained to do. Spent 4 months in EMT school, learning how to try to save lives, and suddenly I'm a UPS driver for people....
...getting paid less than the actual UPS drivers.
If ya can't pass the test that is meant to see if you are MINIMALLY competent three times then you're in the wrong line of work. Docs have taken way harder tests and passed, obviously.
EMTBs can't start IV lines because it's not in our scrope. If you try to start an IV line as an EMTB then you're action is out of scope. and you can be subject to disciplinary action.
